Okmaya is a Korean food brand made in Malaysia by influencer Seonma, known for delivering authentic Korean traditional flavors. I was part of the team that developed its logo and packaging design, and I’m the main person responsible for the photography. Our goal was to create a look that reflects Okmaya’s fresh and authentic vibe, making the brand stand out on shelves and connect with people who love true Korean cuisine.
Logo Design
The logo is inspired by traditional Korean attire and vibes and also wanted to showcase Seonma’s passion in brewing authentic Korean recipe that she grew up with to her kawan-kawan in Malaysia.
Packaging Design
The packaging design is heavily using Korean traditional elements like traditional patterns to show that this brand is serving Korean food paste and also align to the Seonma's idea : share the authentic Korean recipe to her kawan-kawan in Malaysia. Besides, this design is also aimed to catch attention and spark curiosity, giving people a reason to grab it off the shelf.
Brand's Photoshoot
The photoshoot is heavily lean towards warm, inviting visual style that highlights the Okmaya’s essence and its products. Each shot emphasizes the joy of sharing meals prepared with Okmaya’s paste, while subtly showcasing authentic Korean dining culture to help audience better relate to their life.
Shopee Homepage Banner Design
The Shopee Homepage Banners were designed to guide customers seamlessly upon entering Okmaya’s Shopee store, the banners visually differentiate the products while showcasing the variety of dishes that can be created with each sauce.
